I just realized Taka asked about trading and that we never answered him lol. I will now give you a rudimentary explanation of commerce/trading.
You buy things from towns and sell them in other towns to gain a profit. This profit consists of money (gold and ducats) and experience. There are different and more effective ways to transport the goods you buy and wish to sell. The first and most tedious method of transportation is walking. At human speed (Humans are sloooooow compared to elves lol). The next method is with a hand cart which has the speed of a giant. Then a wagon pulled by horses... so obviously speed of horses (in this case shires). Next is an elephant which has the speed of an elf. Each method or level of transportation must be bought through ducats (aside from walking). The hand cart costs 3k ducats; the wagon 100k ducats; the elephant 350k ducats.

Sigh so much to type...

The backpack, hand cart, wagon, and elephant can all carry different amounts of stuff and can withstand more weight. Each item you buy has some weight to it and as a result, you can have all the money in the world, but if you go over the weight limit, you can only buy a set amount. The weight increases with each mode of transportation (backpack -> cart -> wagon -> elephant). More weight = More goods you can carry = More money when you sell them.

As you're traveling between towns, you can encounter bandits periodically. They lie behind fake rocks and trees in an attempt to ambush you if you get to close. Depending on the costs of what you're carrying and how far away you are from the town you bought the stuff, stronger bandits can appear.They'll attempt to steal your stuff. Your only option is to kill them. Unfortunately your damage is halved during commerce.

When you have a reasonable amount of ducats, you can buy a variety of things. Fomorian weapons that are stronger than their ordinary counterparts. I'm too lazy to write everything but weapons and stuff.

Oh, you also have to earn up levels and fight bandits(If they are in your way, other then that, you can just avoid them). The more you level up, the more trading items you get on each town you brought from. Though, the more higher level town you got on, the harder the bandits.

By the way, Cloud, isn't Human the slowest race of them all? xD

you people are all wrong when it comes to moving via handicart or backpack while commercing. All races have the same moving speed, no exceptions. Even though that the human is the slowest, the speed is matched to the giant and elf
